Looking for the best pizza outside of Naples? Then look no further. Without doubt, the answer lies in the Pizza Piazza at Cheese 2015!

This edition sees the renewed collaboration between Slow Food Italy and the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, which began at Cheese in 2011.

Get ready to be seduced by specialties prepared by the best Italian pizza makers, masters at working with soft dough, tomato, basil and, it goes without saying, cheese! You will also find a range of Slow Food Presidia products, showcasing the results of traditional production techniques that Slow Food works to preserve around the world. Sampling a pizza made by these artisans is a truly unique experience, so be sure to come and try one!

This year will see two new additions to the Pizza Piazza:

  • An educational area, where families can learn how to prepare dough, discover raw ingredients and uncover the secrets of one of world’s favorite foods
  • Pizza Workshops where the expert Italian pizza makers will share their tricks of the trade

The Pizza Piazza is located in the courtyard of Scuole Maschili with entrances on via Vittorio Emanuele and via Marconi.

Entrance to the Pizza Piazza is free. Payment is required for the workshops and the pizza!
