The Taste Workshops at Cheese 2015 are unmissible events that provide the chance to learn how to recognize the quality of food and drink, coming face to face with the producers themselves and grasping their intense passion.

This edition puts young herders and cheesemakers at center stage, focusing on their stories and products. It recounts the tales of those who have not abandoned mountainous regions and those who have made the decision to return to marginal areas to build their own lives and livelihoods.

In The Women of Milk Workshop you will find an all-female cast of a revolution, who have followed a course of study and work far from the pastures and have chosen this trade with a careful and informed approach.

And naturally with the 30 Taste Workshops at Cheese 2015, we have dedicated a huge space to gastronomy. Get ready for a long journey spanning the length of Italy in search of the country’s hidden gems beginning with a workshop on Goat’s and Sheep’s Milk Cheeses from Italian Presidia. For lovers of fresh and stringy cow’s or sheep’s milk cheeses, a priority should be The Shapes of Stretched Curds with a lesson in burrata, scamorze and provole that you can’t miss.

Who says that cheese can only be accompanied by a good glass of wine? At Cheese 2015 we want to amaze you with uncommon pairings: for a national overview we recommend Italian Spirits and Blue Cheeses, for whisky lovers Irish Cheeses, and for the more adventurous among us, the Parmigiano Reggiano del consorzio workshop where the best mature cheeses will be paired with sprits and cocktails.
