With a completely new look and content, the Pizza Piazza, first launched at Cheese 2011 and following a huge success at the Salone del Gusto 2012, is coming back to Bra for Cheese 2013.

The focus will be on the cheeses and other ingredients representing the extraordinary Italian and international biodiversity that Slow Food is fighting to save. Sitting at the tables of the Pizza Piazza at Cheese, you’ll have a chance to discover the many products protected by the Ark of Taste, thanks to pizza’s ability to serve as a canvas for a huge variety of different ingredients. 

This year, the Pizza Piazza will be serving only real, authentic Neapolitan pizza thanks to a collaboration with the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, which has been working with Slow Food since the Piazza was launched. A relay team of pizzaiolos will be coming from all over Italy to take turns in front of the oven, with each chef presenting their flagship pizzas, revealing preparation techniques, tips and tricks, and most importantly the ingredients used. The products are the real stars of this edition, and the first essential element to making quality pizza.
